FINDLAY, Ohio, November 17, 2016 – Tim Mayle has been named director of the economic development division of the Findlay-Hancock County Alliance.

Mayle, 36, formerly the assistant director of economic development, replaces Tony Iriti, who recently took an economic development post in Kentucky.

Mayle and Iriti joined the economic development agency within a few months of each other and have worked together for five-plus years.

Mayle will transition into his new role immediately. As director, his responsibilities will include retaining and expanding existing companies; leading efforts to recruit new investment, including industrial, residential and retail development; addressing workforce development needs; and continuing to strategically plan for the future.

“Over the past five years, Tony Iriti, the Alliance and economic development boards, and community leaders have prepared me to become the director and I thank them for that,” Mayle said. “Much of our success is built upon the strong partnership between the business community, government, education, and not-for-profits and I look forward to working to position our community for continued investment.”

“Tim has been with The Alliance for the past five years and has made significant strides assisting in the advancement of economic development activities in the Findlay-Hancock County community,” said John Haywood, Alliance president and chief executive officer. “Tim’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge make him a perfect fit to lead the economic development organization.”
